A name.
A legacy.
“Every bottle carries a name. Ours carry a promise.”
The beginning.
BIRÉTIS started with a personal idea — to leave behind something more than a memory. A name that could be passed on. A small object that, opened at the right moment, could mean something.
Why wine.
Wine has always sat at the centre of the moments people remember. It marks beginnings, reunions, quiet conversations, loud celebrations. It belongs to no single generation, and it travels well across cultures. That felt like the right canvas.

Why France. Why Gornac.
France is the home of the craft. We chose to begin in Gornac — a small village in the South-West, near Bordeaux — where the climate, the soil, and centuries of patience produce wines of honesty and warmth.
Working with winemakers in Gornac gave BIRÉTIS its foundation — Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Mourvèdre, blended with restraint. The result: a Vin Rouge that is slightly sweet, but never overpowering.
Why Nigeria. Why the diaspora.
The most exciting wine consumers in the world today are not where you expect them. They are in Lagos, in London, in Houston, in Paris — young, global, culturally fluent. They want quality, but they also want identity. BIRÉTIS is built for that audience: French in craft, but culturally at home wherever celebration happens.

The vision.
BIRÉTIS is not built to be a wine. It is built to become a lifestyle brand — one that begins with a single red, and grows into a wider expression of taste, design, and cultural exchange.
A French house with a global heart. Patient, intentional, and made to last.

“From Gornac to Lagos. From a name, to a legacy.”
